Welcome to Janine’s Driving School.

I have had over 35 years’ driving experience and have taught young adults with learning difficulties. I am extremely patient and understanding. I am also very good at reading people which helps me understand how pupils learn, whether it be kinaesthetic, practical, academic, or visual. Or what they are feeling ie. scared, stressed. I adapt my teaching to each pupil to get the best skills out of them.

Many pupils are extremely nervous or have anxiety before their lesson and whilst they are actually driving. As I am also a Life Coach I can really help provide tactics to pupils to keep them calm and gain more confidence. The location of the lesson will depend on the ability and confidence of each pupil. Therefore the first lesson will always start in a quiet road where we will not be disturbed, unless they have good experience of course.

All our Driving Instructors are fully qualified Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) Approved Driving Instructors (ADI) and also have full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.

I cover the areas Saffron Walden and all surrounding villages including Great Chrishall, Heydon, Trumpington, Great Shelford, and Sawston. If you are not sure please contact me on 07595 679628.

My car is a Citroen C3 manual which is lovely to drive. I teach people to drive safely not just to pass their test. My car is sanitised after every lesson, temperatures taken before entering the car, and masks are worn at all times.
